Nine members of the Student Leadership Council of College Forward will devise, plan, and implement the first ever recycling program at Del Valle High School. The students will exercise their leadership skills by handling logistics, research, and surveys, while also collaborating with local businesses, school administration, and community members to create the program and to keep it sustainable. The Student Leadership Council will engage the entire school by advertising for the project and beginning a green initiative within the student body.
project will have an impact on 1900 students and staff at Del Valle High School, and will significantly reduce the waste produced.
