In response to the many storms and floods that have devastated much of northeastern Monroe County, Tomah Senior High School students taking an agriculture class will help organize a service-learning project to re-forest the area. Students will spend the weeks leading up to the event researching different types of trees and plants, determining which will thrive the best given the areas conditions.

will then lead the community in planting and maintaining trails in an area of land around the school. The students will be responsible for maintaining the trails which will be used by the community, and by the school as a training area for athletes and as an outdoor classroom.
