Chetan Shenoy

Chetan, the Internet and Communication Technology (ICT) Manager at YSA, is responsible for all of YSA's web properties and social media presence. Along with the ICT Director, Chetan helps strategize the role of technology within the realm of youth service. He also works with Portia, YSA's Youth Engagement Manager, on social media strategies to effectively target youth across Twitter and Facebook.

Before joining YSA, Chetan spent a year in rural India as an Indicorps Fellow fostering entrepreneurship amongst young rural inventors. Prior to his fellowship, he joined TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) as a team lead for the TiEcon annual entrepreneur conference and successfully generated social media marketing strategies to attract Generation Y. A native of California, Chetan grew up in the Bay Area (Northern California) and graduated from University of California, San Diego. A budding filmmaker, he hopes to one day write, produce, direct, and act in his own movie.
