Jameson is a junior at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana and has been a volunteer with Net Literacy since he was a freshman in high school. Net Literacy is a student-managed nonprofit that promotes youth philanthropy through a series of community outreach programs that partners with the Afterschool Alliance and America’s Promise. He most recently worked on the Computer Connects and Safe Connects program refurbishes donated computers that are redistributed to deserving individuals, schools, and communities. Last summer, he also led several presentations to youths enrolled in summer programs at the local YMCA, and taught them how to engage in safe behavior on the Internet.
