Vivian is a senior at Westwood High School in Austin, Texas, where she is a member of the Outreach and Interact clubs. Vivian has been actively involved in Girl Scouts since she was in 4th grade. She is a National Girl Consultant on Girl Scouts of the USA's National Board Leadership Lanes (NBLL), where she works with 14 other scouts to provide a “girls voice” to the national movement. She was a 2009 recipient of the National Young Woman of Distinction (NYWOD) award. A global citizen, Vivian has worked in children’s hospitals and orphanages in London and Costa Rica, and organized a long-term service project to provide school supplies to children who lost their parents in the 2008 earthquake in Sichuan, China.
